As we explore more digital environments with fewer limitations and boundaries, we are entering a new world of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, NFTs and more. These innovations are an increasingly vital aspect of the virtual economy at the heart of the metaverse. If you're a startup dedicated to building a disruptive web3 solution, you don't want to miss this ideation theme.
THE CHALLENGE
This is a 48-hour virtual event that is open to startups in APAC that are working on complementary or augmented solutions that align with the event's themes. Participants will study the FIS ecosystem using publicly available products and API documentation. Submissions will include a theme-specific pitch deck that defined problem statement and how the proposed solution is offered. The solution could be either a standalone or integrated with FIS APIs. Participants can also suggest new APIs that may help to enhance the solution further.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?
To celebrate our culture of co-creation, innovation and collaboration, we invite you to be a part of the virtual FIS InnovateIN48 Ideathon. This event encourages experiential learning and harnesses the possibilities of emerging technology.
If you're an APAC-based startup whose solutions align with the event's themes (data innovation, AI in fintech, and digital assets) this event is the place to be. Bring your passion for ideation, prototyping and fintech solutions to the table. Your pitch deck should explain how your solution can work within the FIS ecosystem to solve current industry challenges.
SUBMISSION CHECKLIST
  • 2 minute video (optional)
  • Theme specific pitch deck with the idea
  • FIS APIs used/requested (if any)
IDENTIFY
Identify the relevant problem statements on the basis of this year’s themes, get acquainted with the FIS ecosystem, its products and API documentation.
IDEATE
Join the virtual launch event to understand FIS ecosystem and FIS API's. Meet key industry mentors, product, and strategy stakeholders. Get an opportunity to interact with other participating startups. Join FIS partner workshops.
SUBMIT
Submissions will include a pitch deck, describing a specific problem statement and how the partner’s solution (standalone or via FIS integration) can bring innovative solutions to the table. Startups can also suggest new FIS APIs that may contribute to enhancing the solution further.

LAUNCH EVENT
Two days launch event is a prelude to InnovateIN48 Ideathon. The event will cover an introduction to the FIS innovation ecosystem. Learn about FIS products and APIs, participate in various hands-on workshops. This event is designed to help startups prepare for the Ideathon.
